It has no irritating effect on skin and eyes. The no - effect dose in a 3 - month feeding test on rats is 4mg/kg per day. Animal tests show no teratogenic, carcinogenic or mutagenic effects. The LC₅₀ for carps is 0.0038mg/L (96h), for bluegill sunfish it is 0.0013mg/L, and for Daphnia it is < 0.5mg/L (48h). The acute oral LD₅₀ for quails and mallards is 1500mg/kg, and it is toxic to bees.
    Application It is a thiourea - type insecticide and acaricide. It is mainly used for controlling various mites, whiteflies, diamondback moths, cabbage caterpillars, aphids, leafhoppers, leafminers, scale insects and other pests and harmful mites on crops such as cotton, fruit trees, vegetables, ornamental plants and soybeans.
